Darling Range Sports College is a specialist sports school – the first and only sports school in Western Australia. The College first opened in 1975 as Forrestfield Senior High School and later transitioned to a sports high school in 2008.
The College is a member of the Darling Range Learning Community, a collaboration of eight schools including all local partner primary schools. This partnership enhances the opportunities available to students and provides a smooth transition for students as they move from primary school to high school.
While specialist sporting programs are a major focus of the College, both the Academic and Arts programs are prominent in the planning and delivery of quality educational opportunities.
