Keswick School is a coeducational 11–18 comprehensive with 1231 pupils on roll. There are 286 students in the sixth form and 50 boarders. The school has previously been recognised under a number of designations, including; training school, Leading Edge, Science Specialist, High Performance and Gifted and Talented SSAT Consultant School.
Keswick School retains a traditional atmosphere, with over 650 years of history. This includes a prefect system with a Head Boy and Head Girl, a House system with Heads of House, Prizegiving and uniform for students in both the main school and sixth form.
Facilities include boarding accommodation, ski slope, performing arts theatre and an extra curricular programme including sports, outdoor education, music and drama. If offers a wide range of other opportunities for pupils, including foreign exchange visits and charity events. Keswick School is a leading partner in the Western Lakes Teaching School Alliance.
