With only Year 7 & Year 8 in attendance, the school currently has a population of 465 students, a teaching staff of 31 and a small administrative and support staff. It is a dynamic community of learners committed to providing a rich, safe and enjoyable educational environment with a high technology focus.
School EnvironmentThe Ponds High School offers the mandatory range of teaching and learning programs with a number of extra-curricular activities to compliment the normal school program. An important feature of the school is its welfare network that strives to support each child as he or she progresses through high school. A unique program within the school that supports this focus is our Home Group program, where students regularly meet with their teacher mentors, share the responsibility of leadership roles within the school and participate in welfare oriented activities. The school is co-educational and enjoys strong support from the local community, valuing participation in cultural and sporting activities.
