Our central Scotland school was established in 1999 as Oakwood School, an educational establishment with a strong Christian ethos – our northern Scotland school was called Springvale School. Since inception, we have been members of Focus learning Trust, an affiliated group of independent schools in the UK. Focus is part of the OneSchool Global group of schools and we work with campuses throughout Europe, North America, Argentina, Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand.
In 2012, as Focus Learning Trust developed into a highly cohesive network and the northern school became known as Focus School – Ellon Campus. Likewise, the central Scotland school became known as Focus School – Laurieston Campus as it had been situated in that part of Falkirk since 2002. Ellon Campus soon outgrew its school and moved to the Millden site. In 2014, the Trustees of the Laurieston Campus acquired the current site and the school was registered as Focus School – Ochil Campus. The two centres always worked together but operated separately however July 2016 saw an exciting move forwards with the two schools merging into one: Focus School – Caledonia Campus.
