Burnt Mill Academy (formerly Burnt Mill School) is situated on First Avenue in the south-west Essex town of Harlow, England.
The school gained academy status in 2011 and later formed part of a multi-academy trust, Burnt Mill Co-operative Academy Trust.
At its most recent Ofsted inspection, in November 2012, the school received Outstanding grades in all categories.
In September 2018, the school help a vote amongst its students to rename one of the houses into that of an inspirational female's surname. After the vote was held, the potential rename is Parks (After Rosa Parks.)
