The spirit of community at The Abbey is one of its defining features. Founded on a Church of England tradition the school welcomes girls of all faiths and none to a community that emphasises values of spiritual awareness, understanding and respect for others. We celebrate achievement and individuality, providing a diverse range of experiences that encourages girls to understand the value of working together and recognising the talents and contributions of their peers. This grass-roots pastoral system is supported by caring staff with deep expertise in girls’ education. The Abbey Community extends far beyond the walls of the school with the forging of lifelong friendships that are valued by all Abbey Alumnae.
