Established in 1981, it is a partner school of Macquarie University.
The School caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 12, and is divided into Primary and Secondary sections. The two buildings were officially opened by the school's Board of Directors and local MP Bronwyn Bishop.
The school is known for its inclusive nature, catering for a diversity of students. The school also has a strong policy against harassment, with a number of students suspended each year due to harassment complaints.
