Darling Range Sports College is a specialist sports school – the first and only sports school in Western Australia. The College first opened in 1975 as Forrestfield Senior High School and later transitioned to a sports high school in 2008.
The College is a member of the Darling Range Learning Community, a collaboration of eight schools including all local partner primary schools. This partnership enhances the opportunities available to students and provides a smooth transition for students as they move from primary school to high school.
While specialist sporting programs are a major focus of the College, both the Academic and Arts programs are prominent in the planning and delivery of quality educational opportunities.
Darling Range Sports College believes our comprehensive suite of educational programs enhances a student’s opportunity to contribute to community and also provides pathways to vocational and academic success beyond school.
