Coodanup College is situated in Mandurah, 80km south of Perth in Western Australia.
The College is on the traditional land of the Binjareb people, and caters for approximately 700 students in Years 7-12 with multiple program structures to meet the individual educational needs of our students.
The school opened in 1989 as Coodanup Senior High School, and catered for students Years 8-12. The school became rich in tradition as one of two Senior High Schools in Mandurah. The school became a designated middle school in 2001, catering for Years 8-10 and known as Coodanup Community College.
Public secondary schooling in Mandurah at this time was restructured with three middle schools all servicing one Senior Secondary College. In 2010, Coodanup Community College reintroduced an upper school program and in 2015 was rebranded as Coodanup College to reflect the Education Department’s Year 7s in secondary school initiative.
