Kempsey Adventist School (KAS) is a co-educational school, owned and operated by Seventh-day Adventist Schools (NNSW) Ltd, a member of Adventist Schools Australia (ASA). ASA is a part of the world-wide Adventist education system, one of the largest Protestant education systems in the world.
Established on its current site in 2003, KAS provides an approved program of education for students from Pre-Kindy to Year 12. KAS is registered and accredited by the NSW Board of Studies (BOSTES), a body that regulates all independent schools in NSW and prescribes the NSW Curriculum guidelines and outcomes. KAS supports and exceeds all the regulatory standards and accreditation standards set out by the NSW Board of Studies, as well as following all Federal Government guidelines.
In addition, KAS is a member of the Association of Independent Schools (AIS) of NSW.
The local administration of the school is delegated to a School Council appointed by the Board of Directors. The School Council usually meets on a bi-monthly basis during school term.
