Darwin High School is a co-educational senior secondary school catering for students in Years 10 to 12 with an enrolment of approximately 1200 students. There are 372 students in Year 10, 392 in Year 11, 360 in Year 12 and 78 students in the Secondary Intenstive English Unit.Darwin High School has a large and diverse staff including a Principal, three Assistant Principals, 11 Senior Teachers, over 75 full time equivalent teachers and 32 Administration Officers who are employed in either a permanent, temporary or contract capacity. A further 43 support staff are employed in a range of capacities including tutors, Canteen and cleaning staff.
Located at Bullocky Point overlooking Darwin Harbour and the Botanic Gardens the School serves the Priority Enrolment Areas of Bayview, Coconut Grove, Coonawarra, Cullen Bay, Darwin City, Fannie Bay, Larrakeyah, Ludmilla, Millner, Nightcliff, Parap, Rapid Creek, Stuart Park, The Gardens, The Narrows, and Woolner.
