King Alfred's Academy is a Secondary school in Wantage, Oxfordshire, recognised as an Academy.[1] It is named after King Alfred the Great, who ruled Wessex from 871 to 899 and was born in Wantage in 849 AD. The school has approximately 140 teachers and 1,800 students spread across two sites.
