Rossiya Airlines (Russian: Россия) was officially established in 2006 and is headquartered in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is one of Russia’s major airlines and is currently part of the Aeroflot Group. Its IATA code is FV, and its main operating base is Pulkovo Airport in Saint Petersburg, with Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport serving as another important hub. Rossiya Airlines primarily operates domestic and international routes connecting cities across Russia with destinations in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The airline has gradually developed a route network centered in Saint Petersburg and Moscow and holds an important position in the Russian aviation market.

The airline’s history can be traced back to the Soviet-era Leningrad aviation division and Pulkovo Airlines. In 2006, Pulkovo Airlines merged with the State Transport Company Rossiya (STC Rossiya), officially adopting the modern “Rossiya Airlines” name. This year is generally regarded as the formal founding year of the modern airline. In 2011, Rossiya Airlines officially became part of the Aeroflot Group.
