To accommodate the school’s mission, a Section 21 Company (non-profit making and independent) secondary school was instituted. The school is registered as Mathews Phosa College with the local provincial Education Department for the purpose of accreditation and examination. All funding would come from school and hostel fees paid by parents. In order not to be exclusive the fees would be kept as low as possible to afford students of limited financial means the opportunity to also attend.
