Otaki College is a small rural school in beautiful Otaki, on the Kapiti Coast, just one hour drive from Wellington.
The College has a reputation for being a safe, friendly school. Every year there are about 15 International Students, mainly from Germany, France and Japan. Each student lives with an Otaki family where they experience typical New Zealand food, customs and speak English.
The students go into normal classes alongside New Zealand students, where English is spoken. The school is multi-cultural with students from different backgrounds and cultures. As a result there is a great deal of understanding and inclusion of the International students.
