The Bible says that God is light - the source of truth, full of joy and hope. Jesus, God’s son, came as the light of the world to show the love of God, to lead and deliver mankind back into an eternal relationship with God.
Every child is made in God’s image, reflecting His light – they are all worthy, valuable and capable of tremendous things. To teach well is to nurture this light in every child.
We listen attentively, act kindly, encourage earnestly, correct compassionately and love unconditionally. We are gentle, but strong. Kind but courageous. We reflect God’s light toward our students in order for them to see it is within them.
We guide and serve them as we teach them to guide and serve others. We bestow opportunity, inspire possibility, teach persistence and model integrity. We ignite their love of learning and fuel their self-belief so they grow into adulthood as purposeful, capable and selfless leaders in their own lives. Leaders with the capacity and light to change their world for the better.
We unite together as one family – teachers, students, parents, relatives and friends – to share, learn, laugh, accomplish and become our best selves through one another.
